Mitrade Foundation Established to Support Global Community Development, Education, and Sustainability Initiatives

2026 marks a year of mounting humanitarian need, climate disruption, and widening inequality across emerging markets — and with it, a growing expectation for the private sector to step up. Mitrade Foundation, a newly established independent CSR organization, is stepping into that space.

The foundation operates independently from the Mitrade Group and focuses on social and environmental impact. Mitrade Foundation works alongside grassroots organizations, institutions, and development partners to build initiatives that respond to real needs on the ground — spanning Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa. Global humanitarian funding gaps have widened for the fourth consecutive year. Across emerging markets in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, child poverty in the MENA region alone has nearly doubled over the past decade, while gaps in access to education, healthcare, and food security continue to widen — with more businesses taking it upon themselves to give back to the communities and societies they are part of.

While much of corporate CSR funding is still filtered through layers of bureaucracy before reaching the people who need it most, Mitrade Foundation is taking a more direct approach. The foundation will direct its efforts toward strengthening local communities, expanding access to education, supporting environmental initiatives, and contributing to humanitarian relief — with accountability to the partners and communities at the centre of each initiative.
